Imperial Sanctum: Beat Shiro with a completed time of 27:53.

In other words, I survived being constantly attacked by Shiro for close to 28 minutes before finally and officially defeating him.

I took my monk to legendary guardian, did the normal/hard eotn campaign, and did all normal/hard dungeons while an active survivor (0 /deaths at the end of it all), without pve skills, without cons, and with only henchies/heroes for everything but the two Factions dual-team missions. Repeated it with the same rules on my necro minus the dungeons, because those were a bit too grindy for my taste. Time on the necro was 90 hours for the campaigns; I'm not too sure on the monk. This was about 1-2 years ago.

Way back in the day, a guildie and I were bored, so we loaded up 6 heros with shadow steps and took them to the boat in HA. Took forever for us both to get through the crack, then shadow step all the heroes through without rubber-banding any of us. As far as I know, we're the only ones to ever try it.
Also back in the day, I was the only one who knew the absurd broken-ness of finale of restoration.

  • First time clearing FoW (with 6 heros)
  • First time clearing UW (recently with all heroes)
  • Getting Holy Lightbringer on my warrior solely by farming the margonite mobs in Domain of Secrets (from Gate of Secrets) before HM was invented.
  • Getting Legendary Survivor on my ranger solely by farming the "Summit Slaves" quests (before EotN came out).
  • Getting Tyrian Master Cartographer on my warrior even before they invented the title (My warrior had something like 98% explored on the day that title came out)
And my favourite: getting signed Christmas cards from Anet 3* out of the last 4 years.

(* I'm sure Anet just misplaced my 2008 x-mas card and it will eventually be found and mailed to me. )

Well, there are few things.

1. When I was quitting game, I used to run Trivia in Kamadan for like 2 months, gave over 500-700 ectos and was fun.
2. When I started playing this gmae, had one person helping me through first 2-3 months playing with me every day for like 1-3 hours even though there were some noob things sometimes. After long time, got back to him and gave him nice amount of ectos so he can craft obby armor if he wants, and still have for like one more
3. Just did Legendary Survivor while doing FOW NM all the time (got Obsidian Edge Q11 while doing it), and on some runs took friend who never did any of those and was begginer, and some guild members for their statue. Happy that on like 1 million and 100k, i accidentally killed all my heroes except one, so i flagged him, and we rushed together and i used res scrolls. Got my hp down to like 50 and almost lost survivor, but my heroes then saved my ass
EDIT: Oh, doing Zaishen Elite at like 600k xp of something, people were LOLing all the way
4. Still enjoy helping anyone in this game, so if anyone want's someone to play, I am always up to.

I have two stories.

The first one was doing Sanctum Cay in HM with two other friends, and two heros. I was a ranger, one friend was paragon, other friend is warrior. We get to the swamp with the bone dragons, and get overwhelmed with the degen. All of us died except the warrior, who proceded to tank the bone dragon boss using I Will Survive, Lion's Comfort, and various attack skills. By himself. It took a few minutes, but he managed to kill the boss, just to prove he could do it. But he didnt have any rez.

The second story is with four friends and two pugs. The above Paragon is now on his Ritualist. We're doing Elona Reach during ZM day in HM. We have the priests rezzed for the bonus, and are running the last two crystals back to the Ghostly Hero. Someone overagroed two or three groups, and one by one we all start dropping dead. The Ritualist manages to survive, and with his spirits, he takes out the remaining groups of foes, and runs the two crystals back to the Hero by himself. We all cheered as he got the mission done for us after we all died.

When i was bored , when eotn came out i did a McHammer achievement. STOP HAMMERTIME!!
Got 7 guildies, 5 wars and 2 monks, headed to the elemental ice boss dungeon.
We all went down with hammers, we ended in 19 minutes once. Chain backbreaking the boss was too funny. we kept him down for 25 secs in a row. Too bad we didn't have a barbs necro.

I was going to cap Jagged Bones with my friend. When we did, we came to the worst idea we could. We decided to do frostmaw. When we mapped to the dungeon, JB pushed out our desired elites, let alone not having ANY minions in our build. We cleared it in 4h, dying like 20+ times. During the dung, our guildie offered us a mini each for actually completing it. Yeah, he did give them but they were ded, 1st yr, white.

Oh and to get to Zaishen Elites, my friend ran Mist Form farmer to beat IWAY Warriors - they're all physical you know - lol. He succeeded and thanks to him I could farm BF.

1. One of the first to finish Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer, and I used only map comparisons no Photoshop or texmod. It was a big deal at the time I got a lot of PMs from people who saw my title, but the real credit should go to whoever posted up the 100% map on pretty much the same day titles came out.

2. Actually managed to get the rowdy teenage crowd in Random Arenas and Great Temple of Balthazar to collaborate in running a bar. It was me and two other friends, way more fun than any of the RP sessions I've attended.

3. Won in the Hall of Heroes before team builds were anything more than 7 W/Mos and a monk. (That's why we won, we had eles and rangers)

4. Sold an ecto when it was valued at 1k and thought I was rich.

5. Obtained FoW armor on non-farming gameplay. No rare items, except a superior vigor, or RMT was involved at all.

(BTW, No rare items = Story of my life)

At last - a kindred spirit.

I'm just the same, if not worse. I tend to stick to "easy" professions like warrior and ranger. The eles/mesmers/necros/monks are all to complicated for me to play well

That should be a title. Grand Beast Master.

And to keep on topic: farmed 50 iris flowers in 10 minutes. One time lucky streak, obviously. Ironic achievement, since I hate farming.

Got myself a level 20 "snow wolf" - just because it bugs me that there is no "snow wolf" in the menagerie and it turns into a regular "wolf" when it evolves.
